Funky! :D

Now this, my good sir, is groovy! :D Love it!

Sad to say that the audio quality once again does not do your music justice! :S I hear these "clicks" and "pops" every now and then that are quite annoying, still, this is so much fun!

Keep at it! :D

Yeh it's the best i've got to work with unfortunatly. My Laptop can barely process all the sounds i record. Your recoding quality is amazing, how much is played in or programmed and any advice on ways to better my quality??

PM me?

Dropkick murphys!

This is great! :D Come 2:07 and I get this amazing Dropkick Murphys feeling. :D I almost wish you'd gone with that style throughout the whole track. :P Not that the rest of the track is any worse ;)

Still, it's a little on the slow side for ME to like, and the audio quality could be improved. Nonetheless, this is a very interesting piece of music, and kudos to you for your guitar skills! Keep it up! ;)

I'd be delighted for you to return the favor on my latest submission :)

Dawbarton responds:

I wrote and recoded it in a day. I should of taken longer to polish and work on it really but to keen to start new things.

Thanks for the reviews buddy, means a lot

Pure bliss!

I love this! :D Do you know what I'd do if this was acompanied with a solo violin?..
HOLY SH*T.. Then you'll get the last point!"

Might I ask what VST this is? :D

PhilVille responds:

x3 Thank you! I was thinking about adding something to this hehe cause I know how solo piano is blegh haha
Lol you wouldn't believe this but its a doctored up Finale 2010 piano XD

VGM

I'll be damned if this doesn't get featured in a game here on NG. *or some place else.* :) Perfect video game music.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Rekuiem responds:

Haha, we'll see, I'm just glad people enjoy it, I had a lot of fun making it :D

Lovely!

Takes me back to those good old SNES days and makes me feel like a kid again. :)

If you want this track featured in a game or something, I'd suggest taking out the rain sound effect that pops in somewhere in the middle, orsimply extending it through the whole track. Well, maybe not, as that depends on the scene where this would play..

Anyway. Really great tune! Got me thinking of a rainy day in Animal Crossing. :)

Dude

That's really awesome! haha, I can't figure out if I've heard this before. Did you perhaps send me a copy by email? ;D

Anyways. You've really done this justice, great job man :D I thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Yeah I think I send you a link to zippyshare or something similar xD

Thank you! I'm glad you like it!

:)

Very good!

This is pure awesome! ;)

The intro drags on a little too long. In my opinion, there's not happening enough to have that long of a intro. If you were to add some sort of percussion, or another instrument, say at 0:24, the intro wouldn't seem as long and empty.

At 0:55 when the left hand notes kicks in, you get the feeling that the action is about to start, and that it'll lead to something new and exciting!.. I was sad to hear that it would only lead to the same chords as you used the intro. ;S

Still, this is really good, and if you'd add some more elements to it, I'd think it would do very nicely in a action flash.

Keep it up!

Impending doom

I have to be honest. I didn't really like the beginning that much.. I don't know, it's too subtle I guess ;P Maybe if you had used some other instruments to contrast the strings :3

The part where I get really mushy is at 1:51, when everything quiets down a bit, and leads to this orgasmic explosion of strings at 2:12. Very nice!" :D

I would have been happy to hear a distant timpani in this :) A very quiet, and very soft timpani here and there would have contributed to the feeling of an impending doom. :D The only percussion I can hear in this was the one starting at 0:29.

Sure. Using too much percussion can bring the track in a completely new direction, but I would have liked a tad more ;)

But who am I to say what you should add and/or remove ;)

Given that you have made this for a specific scene, it becomes so much better! You can imagine how all of mankind falls in chock, and how everybody starts gathering with their families.. Just in case the worst happens..

You did a very nice job here Peter, I hope this review was helpful :)

I belong to a minority!

I try to avoid reviewing trance and technoish tracks, as I don't have the slightest idea what to write about them. I know squat about trance and techno.. Well, I don't really know much about other genres either..

I'm getting OFF TOPIC!

I'll gladly try to write some comments about this, as I find it very interesting!

The first thing that popped in mind was the "Halloween" movies. This track emits a kind of eerie and unfamiliar feeling, just like what you'd hear in a old horror movie.

The heartbeat segments throughout the track are really cool. The waterdrop effects aswell. They really make you believe there's some michievous little bugger following you. A G.I Joe gone apeshit or something.

The harpsichord was ofcource a brilliant choise ;)

I was sad to hear though, that the harspichord wouldn't play anything beside it's given melody. ;S I think a slight variation would have been nice, but it doesn't really drag down the track that much.

You've done a great job with this, and I hope you'll get it featured in a flash sometime soon.

If you didn't already make this for a specific flash that is ;)

If it's not to much to ask :3

nightsurfermusic responds:

I thank you for the review. And when I find some extra time, I'll be glad to look at your song. :D
